What do you do at PEAK?

When interacting with clients I try to make them feel happy and engaged. This is so they can focus on the sport or activity instead of whatever else is going on in their life which allows then to escape. I often speak to the clients about sport in general or other things they are interested in.


What are your credentials/past experiences, for working in your position?

From leaving school I have studied sport firstly that was at college doing my BTEC in sport and then following that I completed a degree in sport at Sunderland University. While growing up I have always been involved in sport and took part in sport.


What’s your Archetype?

My primary archetype is Athlete with my secondary archetype being creative. This means that I am competitive as well as being someone who is very focused on what they are doing. I am who enjoys giving their input during creative situations.


What do you like about working at PEAK/What are you looking forward to when working at PEAK?

One of the main things I like about working for PEAK is that I get to work alongside other good sport educators which allows me to develop further as a person and as an educator. Another thing I like about working for PEAK is that I get to help educate many Children and see them progress as the time passes.


What’s your background?

Throughout my life I have only ever lived in Sunderland and was partly a reason behind going to the University of Sunderland to complete my degree in sport.


What are the values that drive you?

I am someone who believes in honesty and trying your best in everything you do in order to become the best you can be. I am also someone who believes it is important to help others and educate others when it is possible.


You’re top 3 favourite Podcasts/Books?

I am not someone who reads many books but I do listen to some podcasts occasionally. The podcasts I listen to the most are Happy Hour and the Fozcast which is a sports podcast.


What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

While not working I enjoy going to football matches especially as well as spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy watching football and cricket amongst other sports too which is what a spend a lot of time doing as it is something I enjoy a lot.
