Meet the Team - Tony Stephenson

My name is Tony and I joined PEAK in 2015, working initially in various schools across the region teaching PE to 3-12 year olds, as well as more recently developing our PECS programme.

My initial sporting passion was football and following a successful junior career I played for Hartlepool and Gillingham before playing professional football in various countries.

Over the past few seasons, I have concentrated on playing in the non-league scene in the North East. I am also a lover of other sports including cycling and boxing. In my spare time I like to spend time with my wife and daughter, travelling with friends and family and keeping fit.

I have developed so much in my time with PEAK and have become very confident in my delivery and take great job satisfaction in seeing kids develop, both as people and in the sporting sense, whether it be seeing one grow in confidence, or one excel at a sport, I get the same buzz now from working at PEAK.
